Following the start-up of its third BOPP line 8.2 m wide which has a capacity of 40.000 tonnes p.a. Super Film, whose goal is to be a real solution partner of its customers, is now producing 70.000 tonnes p.a. of BOPP films.

Also now in production is the only 7 layer barrier film line in Turkey producing CPP structures and multilayer barrier films.

The first and currently only 6.7m wide BOPET line is also producing PET-G and BOPA films in addition to a standard range of PET films.

The range of film specifications from Super Film has been enhanced by 2 coating units and 4 metallization machines

Super Film has now increased its capacity of flexible films to 94.000 tonnes three times that of the original 2004 capacity. Superfilm can now offer one of the widest ranges of flexible packaging films. Thereby achieving its 'one stop shop' goal.

In Super Film quality is an important aspect of production and is continously monitored. Every manufacturing unit has its own Q.C. laboratory and is suitably equiped with the individual capability to test its own range of products. Q.C. tests are applied in order to check that both physical parameters and quality standards are met. Super Film applies both ASTM standard tests and its own in-house techniques for each film produced.

In additon to our Quality Control Laboratories we have a designated R&D laboratory which is working on producing economically new innovative packaging films and improving physical characteristics such as the optical and mechanical properties of films.

Those R&D studies have brought us many valuable awards from various International Organizations

We recognise that industry and science must inter-relate and academic cooperation is important to us. We have projects in cooperation with TUBITAK (Scientific&Technological Research Council of Turkey) where we become aware of important technological advances and developments for the future.

We are always aware of our responsibilities to the environment and human health. We are qualified with an "Excellent" grade from AIB(American Institute of Bakery) and have also ISO 9001 Quality Certificate. Our OHSAS 18001 Quality Certificate underlines the standards we have for the health and safety of our workers and plant. Our HACCP studies are in the process of completion.
