Our Technology

Super Film has been producing 70,000 tons of BOPP film annually at its Gaziantep plant since 1993, with the goal of becoming the solution partner for its customers in the packaging industry.

By the end of 2023, with the new BOPP film production facility to be commissioned in Lüleburgaz district of Kırklareli province, BOPP film production capacity will increase by 60,000 tons/year and reach 130,000 tons/year.

Super Film will produce high-quality films using advanced technologies in its new plant, and will continue to increase its contribution to the country's economy by using environmentally friendly and high efficiency equipment.

With our BOPET film lines capable of producing 48,000 tons of BOPET films per year, Süper Film is one of the leading companies in the country and the region.

With its 3 coating lines and 6 metallizers, Super Film has diversified its product portfolio and end use applications. Today Super Film has become a global brand offering different Packaging solutions under one roof. With a mission to produce high quality products, Super Film has implemented separate laboratories in each production unit. Each laboratory has the equipment and work force to perform necessary tests.  As the products are tested for compliance with quality standards and physical conditions, Süper Film applies to ASTM test methods and its own techniques for each production lot.

Super Film R&D Center focuses on studies for cost reducing new packaging film alternatives, for improvement of optical and mechanical properties of existing products, for increasing barrier and hygienic properties of the films and for developing environment friendly alternatives. To support these studies, there is a well-equipped private laboratory, where only R&D studies are carried out. The production performance of the new films is monitored by expert teams. Trial productions are conduct on the pilot line in order to maximize the qualities of the developed products.

Super Film R&D Center values the importance of academic cooperation. Some projects are carried out with the cooperation and encouragement of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) and with prominent universities.

Super Film is proud to have received the World Packaging Organization "World Star" award on multiple occasions as a result of its R&D researches.
